Jackie Houser joined Toastmasters in October 2017 because her first mentor suggested that she join Toastmasters.
Jackie became a club officer 3 months after joining Bluff City Toastmasters, and 6 months later stepped into District Leadership as Area Director. In 18 months, Jackie earned her Distinguished Toastmaster designation, the highest award in Toastmasters and has since earned a second designation. She is now working on completing the same designation in our new educational program, Pathways.
Jackie has sponsored over 40 people in o various clubs in the Memphis Area, sponsored 9 new clubs, coached 1 club and is currently mentoring 1 club. She was awarded Area Director of the year in 2019 and Division Director of the year 2020. She enjoys helping people find their voice and overcoming their fear of speaking. Jackie has aspirations to one day serve in a leadership capacity at the International level.
